Nepali Ambassador to India Sharma takes oath

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 25 – Dr Shankar Prasad Sharma, Nepal’s Ambassador to India, has taken an oath of office and secrecy.

At a special function organised at the office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, today, President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy to Ambassador Dr Sharma.

On October 28, the government recommended Sharma as Nepal’s ambassador to India.

Dr Sharma was appointed Ambassador by the President after the Parliamentary Hearing Committee approved the name.
