Nepal playing with Papua New Guinea at home

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 25 – The Nepal national cricket team is playing a two-match one-day international series against Papua New Guinea at the TU ground in Kirtipur. For the first time, Papua New Guinea will play a one-day series in Nepal, beginning at 9 a.m.

Assad Vala, the captain of Papua New Guinea, says he is very excited to play in front of Nepali fans. Nepal was defeated by Papua New Guinea this year. Nepal won both games of the ICC World Cup League-2 triangular one-day international series.

Earlier, Nepal had played one-day series against PNG last September. Where Nepal had won both the games. In 2018, Nepal defeated Zimbabwe by 6 wickets in the ODI World Cup qualifiers. Since then, Nepal has not lost to Papua New Guinea. Nepal will be aiming for its sixth consecutive victory over Papua New Guinea.
