ITAHARI: MARCH. 24 – COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 35 more people in Nepal in the last 24 hours.

During this time, 3,881 swab samples were tested using the RT-PCR method, with 32 of them returning positive results. Similarly, 1,387 people were tested for virus antigens, with three of them testing positive.

The overall per-day positivity rate was 0.66 percent, with 0.82 percent of PCR and 0.21 percent of antigen samples returning positive.

There are currently 2,219 active cases across the country. No COVID-19-related deaths occurred in the previous 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Similarly, 226 more people have been cured in the last 24 hours. So far, 9643,127 people have recovered out of a total of 9643,127 cases.

The recovery rate in the country is 98.6%, and the death rate is 1.2 percent.

Today, 83,253 people were vaccinated against COVID-19.
