KATHMANDU: MARCH. 24 – The Tribhuvan International Airport has been chastised for charging a fee for waiting in a passenger waiting room.

The new arrival room’s operator, IMS Airport Service, has been chastised for charging Rs 50 for a superior room and Rs 100 for a deluxe room.

To pick up relatives coming from abroad, one must stand for hours. Even so, owning one is still out of the ordinary person’s reach.

Those staying in the nearby ‘arrival hall’ must pay a fee of Rs 50 to Rs 100. Citizens who arrive at the airport to pick up relatives claim that paying a fee is inappropriate.
