Great Wall Motors’ Haval H6 received a five-star rating
KATHMANDU: MARCH. 24 – Great Wall Motors’ Haval H6 SUV has received a 5-star rating in the crash test conducted by Australian ANCAP. This is the second time that the Havel H6 has received such a rating after the brand’s power pick-up.
Also available in the Nepali market, the SUV has achieved a five-star safety rating with a score of 90 percent in Adult Occupant Protection, 88 percent in Child Occupant Protection, 73 percent in Vulnerable Road User Protection and 81 percent in Safety Assist.
According to ANCAP, the Haval H6 has received integer in side effects and abrupt pole tests, front and rear-seat occupant whiplash protection and front-seat passenger protection in frontal-offset tests. ANCAP has praised the H6 for safely adjusting the range of traditional specific child restrictions in child occupant protection. ANCAP also praised the Haval H6’s Junction Assist feature for its ability to prevent collisions with other vehicles in turn-cross-path intersection tests.
Appreciating the active safety features of this SUV, it has given a good assessment of the car-to-car and car-to-cyclist autonomous emergency braking capabilities along with all the emergency lane testing conditions.
