PM Deuba to visit Tanahun on Thursday

DAMAULI: MARCH. 23 – Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to visit the Tanahun district on Thursday to mark his presence in various events here.

During his visit, PM Deuba will inspect the 140-megawatt Tanahun Hydro Power Project under construction at Jhaputar of Hrishing rural municipality-1 in the district, it has been said.

According to the chief district officer (CDO) of Tanahun, Bishwa Prakash Aryal, Deuba is scheduled to interact with the hydropower project officials and instruct them.

The PM, also the president of the Nepali Congress, will then participate in an event to be organised in the office of the Nepali Congress, Tanahun chapter. Thereafter, he will also inaugurate the 8th Tanahun Festival to be organised by the Tanahun Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Furthermore, the Head of the Government will inaugurate the newly constructed building for Hrishing rural municipality.

PM Deuba will return to Kathmandu on the same day, according to the District Administration Office, Tanahun.
