UML in election preparations, Central Committee meeting today & tomorrow

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 23 – To prepare for the election, the CPN-UML has called a meeting of the Central Committee. On the invitation of Chairperson KP Oli Sharma, a meeting will be held today at 11 a.m. at Karki Banquet in Babar Mahal.

According to Bishnu Rijal, Deputy Chief of the UML Central Publicity Department, the main agenda of the meeting until tomorrow is local level elections.

“The meeting will focus on the election. The agenda includes the report of the chairperson and the secretary-general, as well as the reporting of the chairpersons of the provinces, the election manifesto, and the criteria for selection of candidates,” he said.

The UML has begun preparations for the May 13 local elections.
