Wang Yi, China’s Foreign Minister, scheduled to arrive on March 25
KATHMANDU: MARCH. 21 – Wang Yi, China’s State Councilor and Minister for Foreign Affairs, will pay an official visit to Nepal beginning March 25 at the invitation of Dr Narayan Khadka, Nepal’s Minister for Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) issued a press statement here today about the Chinese Foreign Minister’s three-day visit. President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba are scheduled to receive courtesy calls from Chinese Minister Wang.
According to the statement, he is also scheduled to meet with former Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and former Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda.’
The Chinese Foreign Minister is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his Nepali counterpart Dr Khadka, leading their respective delegations on March 26.
Wang Yi, State Councilor, will return home on March 27, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
