UAE’s sluggish but managed start

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 21 – The UAE, who are batting first against Nepal in the ICC One-Day International Cricket World Cup, have made a slow but steady start.

After Nepal won the toss and chose to field first in the UAE, the UAE batted and scored 45 runs in 13 overs without losing a wicket.

UAE’s Mohammad Wasim (27) and Chirag Suri (9) are not out. So far, Nepal has bowled Sompal Kami, Karan KC and Bikram Sob. All three bowlers could not take a wicket.

Today, Nepal has given a chance to Pawan Sharraf, Bikram Sob and Binod Bhandari in place of Sagar Dhakal, Aasif Sheikh and Kamal Singh Airee. In the previous match of the same series, Nepal had lost to UAE by 48 runs.
