NEPSE fell by 14 points, a turnover of Rs 2.5 billion
KATHMANDU: MARCH. 20 – On Sunday, the first trading day of the week, the share market fell by double digits.
On this day, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has decreased by 14.67 points and dropped to 2616.58 points. The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading activity of Class A companies, fell by 3.01 points to 494.38.
A total of 4287,569 shares of 224 companies were traded at Rs 2.27 billion 46 lakh 26 thousand 1 hundred 91 rupees on this day.
On this day, the share price of Rastra Utthan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha has increased the most by 10 percent. Similarly, Emerging Nepal’s share price has risen by 9.99 percent. Share prices of NIFRA, Saptakoshi Development Bank and Jeevan Bikas Microfinance have also increased.
Share prices of companies including Malung Khola, Shivashree Hydropower and Prabhu Life Insurance have declined the most.
Indicators of all groups except investment are in the red this day.
