NSU demonstration calling for formation of an ad hoc committee
KATHMANDU: MARCH. 20 – The Nepal Student Union (NSU), a sister organization of the Nepali Congress (NC), has staged a protest at the party’s headquarters in Sanepa, demanding the formation of an ad hoc committee.
They have requested that an ad hoc committee be formed in accordance with the constitution to represent students of all ages.
They also demanded that the NSU constitution be fully implemented and that an environment conducive to the mobilization of youth and students be created in the upcoming three-tier election, modern self-government election, and guarantee of the NSU general convention.
The NSU’s leader, Anil Khanal, has drawn the party’s attention, stating that the party should not be kept in further confusion.
Following the demonstration, they even handed over a memorandum to the party office about their demands.
