Bista joins UML after being suspended from Chief Whip

SURKHET: MARCH. 20 – Thammar Bahadur Bista joined UML after being suspended from the chief whip of Karnali State Parliamentary Party by CPN-Maoist.

At a large gathering of party cadres and a party entry program held at Birendranagar City Hall, the party’s Senior Vice-Chairperson, Ishwor Pokhrel, welcomed him to UML.

Over 200 leaders and activists from other parties have joined the UML, including Bista and other district committee members.

Similarly, he resigned from the Karnali State Sabha and the party on March 11 while he was the chief whip.

Bista resigned from the party on March 11, the same day CPN (Maoist Center) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal arrived in Surkhet, Karnali State’s capital, to give Prachanda Party training.
