Chelsea advanced to the FA Cup semifinals

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 20 – English club Chelsea has entered the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Chelsea advanced to the FA Cup semifinals with a 2-0 win over Championship club Middlesbrough on Saturday night.

In Chelsea’s victory, Romelu Lukaku scored his 12th goal of the season. Earlier, Middlesbrough stunned Manchester United and Tottenham to advance to the quarterfinals. The Premier League club, however, hampered their hopes of reaching the last four.

Romelu Lukaku made good use of Mason Mount’s cross in the 15th minute to give Chelsea an early lead. The second goal was scored by Hakim Ziyech. He also made good use of Mount’s pass. The semi-final match will be decided after the match between Nottingham Forest and Liverpool.
