Everton’s thrilling win over Newcastle

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 18 – Everton beat Newcastle United 1-0 in the English Premier League on Thursday night with a decisive goal from Alex Iwobi in the ninth minute of injury time.

Everton, limited to 10 players, managed to score three crucial points in injury time after a goalless draw in the 90th minute at home to Goodison Park. The injury time was 15 minutes.

Everton were reduced to ten men in the 83rd minute after Allan was shown a red card. Newcastle, on the other hand, did not succeed.

With the win, Everton are out of the relegation zone. He is in 17th place with 25 points from 27 games.

Newcastle is currently 14th in the table, having played 31 of 29 games. Manchester City leads the Premier League.
