Sudarshan Baral elected as chairperson of CPN (Maoist Center) Lumbini State

RUPANDEHI: MARCH. 16 – Sudarshan Baral has been unanimously elected as the CPN (Maoist Center) Lumbini’s chairperson.

The first Lumbini state conference, held on December 11-12 in Bhalubang, Dang district, elected 217 people.

The same committee was supposed to choose the chairperson, but after four months, Lumbini State’s chairperson finally agreed. Baral, the chairperson, was a former minister of social development.

The Maoist center’s multi-level state committee will have seven office bearers, including one chairperson, three vice-chairpersons, one secretary, one joint secretary, and one treasurer.

Similarly, Durga Tharu, Numa Kanta Neupane, Bir Bahadur Khatri, Secretary Krishna Adhikari, Joint Secretary Akal Bahadur Bam, Joint Secretary Parbati BK, Joint Secretary Kashiram Yadav and Treasurer Nirdosh Ali are the vice-chairpersons.
