Cooperation between BOK and Heifer Nepal

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 16 – Bank of Kathmandu (BOK) has entered into a corporate social responsibility agreement with Heifer Nepal to run financial literacy programs in various rural areas.

According to the agreement, the Bank, in collaboration with Heifer Nepal, aims to increase banking access in various parts of the country by raising banking awareness and promoting financial transactions.

The bank and Heifer Nepal are said to be committed to making the program effective by developing various reference materials related to banking and financial literacy in collaboration with the bank and Heifer Nepal.

The agreement was signed by Dilip Pokhrel, the bank’s Head of Institutional Deposits, and Dr. Shubhanath Mahato, the Director of Heifer Nepal.
