Share market decline by double digits
KATHMANDU: MARCH. 15 – On Tuesday, the third trading day of the week, the share market fell by double digits. On this day, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has decreased by 17.15 points and dropped to 2650.97 points.
A total of 65 lakh 29 thousand 26 shares of 229 companies were traded at Rs 3 billion 366.42 million 29 thousand 175 rupees on the day.
Among the group indices, the banking group declined by 11.78 points, the development bank by 12.91 points, finance by 11.42 points, hydropower by 45.36 points, life insurance by 102.74 points, manufacturing and processing by 104.41 points and microfinance group by 39.49 points. The sub-index of the non-life insurance group has increased by 67.33 points.
Emerging Nepal’s share price has taken a positive circuit due to the double-digit decline in the market. On this day, investors of Sagarmatha Insurance, Soaltee Hotel, United Idi Mardi RB Hydropower Company have earned while investors of Nepal Telecom Company, Malung Khola Hydropower Company, Singati Hydro Energy have lost.
