Right to health of citizens mentioned in constitution should be established : Gagan

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 15 – Gagan Kumar Thapa, General Secretary of the Nepali Congress, has stated that the citizens’ right to health, as stated in the constitution, should be established.

Inaugurating the Urban Health Promotion Center in Kathmandu on Tuesday, he said that the people’s representatives should also play a positive role in establishing the right to health of the citizens.

He stated that the right of the people to health should be established, along with their commitment to build infrastructure while contesting the election.

He also stated that the metropolis area should do the necessary work for free health care.

He stated that the health infrastructure in the wards should be ready based on the people’s health problems.
