Prince of Saudi Arabia holding high-level talks today
KATHMANDU: MARCH. 15 – Nepal and Saudi Arabia are holding a bilateral meeting today. The meeting will begin at 9.15 a.m. at Singha Durbar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Foreign Minister Dr Narayan Khadka will lead Nepal, and Saudi Foreign Minister and Saudi Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud will lead Saudi Arabia. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting will cover all aspects of Nepal-Saudi Arabia relations.
After the meeting, General Cooperation Agreement will be signed between Nepal and Saudi Arabia today. According to the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the agreement will pave the way for cooperation between Nepal and Saudi Arabia in the fields of communication, education, culture, industry, sports and others.
Saudi Arabia is a major destination country for Nepali workers. Approximately 4 lakh Nepalis have found work in the country.
On Monday, Saudi Foreign Minister arrived in Kathmandu for the meeting. Today, he will pay a courtesy visit to the President and Prime Minister.
