UML Secretariat meeting to formulate election strategy
KATHMANDU: MARCH. 15 – A meeting of the Central Secretariat of the main opposition party CPN (UML) is scheduled to be held today. The meeting will begin at 3 p.m. at the residence of party chairperson KP Sharma Oli.
Preparations, including local elections, will be discussed. The UML is planning a meeting of the Standing Committee, Politburo, and Central Committee. The CPN-UML has begun to plan its strategy for the upcoming local elections.
The UML, which won a majority in the previous local elections, hopes to repeat its success this time. On Monday, a meeting at the party’s central office discussed the party’s focus on the upcoming election.
To decide on election strategy, the UML has called a meeting of the Politburo on March 21, the Central Committee on March 22 and 23, and the Standing Committee on March 28.
