NA Chair Timilsina sees need of joint forum for election campaign
BAGLUNG: MARCH. 14 – Chairperson of the National Assembly (NA) Ganesh Prasad Timilsina today viewed that an environment should be created wherein all political parties get together for their election campaigns.
This is needed for reducing election expenditures, and get a political common understanding on development activities according to him.
He also stressed the need for political parties to focus on election programmes for the sake of people and the development of the country. “Develop the country and work for people, people vote for us evaluating our performance.
Those who have won elections just by influencing voters by distributing rice and other essentials to them are good for nothing,” he said while inaugurating a mega health camp set up in Baglung district.
He also urged voters to use their conscience while choosing people’s representatives in elections.
In different context, NA Chair Timilsina claimed that there had been reforms in health following COVID-19. “The infection has helped identify and carry out infrastructure development activities in health sector.
There have been problems in salaries distribution to doctors. Those doctors working in rural areas should be encouraged.”
