Congress panel wins in Engineers Association Lumbini

RUPANDEHI: MARCH. 14 – Democratic panel close to Nepali Congress has won the convention of Nepal Engineers Association Lumbini. Elections have taken place for the Association’s 33rd Central Executive Committee, the Nepal Engineering Council, and the second State Executive Committee.

Democratic panel candidates have won all the posts except two members in the executive committee of Lumbini State. The panel was elected with Shailendra Prasad Shrestha as chairperson, Lekh Bahadur Basnet as vice-chairperson, Govind Pangeni as secretary, Arjun Giri as joint secretary, and Sandeep Regmi as treasurer.

Of the remaining 10 members, eight have been elected from the Democratic panel and the remaining two from the UML-affiliated panel.
