Impeachment was brought against CJ for judicial reform: Leader Singh

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 14 – According to Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh, impeachment proceedings should be initiated against Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana because citizens are unable to obtain justice easily.

“Since those who have led the judiciary lack leadership skills, they should have brought a grand campaign for judiciary reform,” Singh said at an event in Kathmandu.

He also stated that the formation of a four-party alliance was not in the best interests of the Nepali Congress, but was a result of circumstances.

“We have formed an alliance to stop the unconstitutional act of the then government and bring the constitution in the right direction,” Singh said. But, there are different opinions on this. We will get to the end soon. ‘
