Lama elected as president of Sindhupalchowk Congress

SINDHUPALCHOWK: MARCH. 14 – Jung Bahadur Lama has won the post of Nepali Congress Sindhupalchowk president by getting 912 votes.

Bansalal Tamang, his opponent, got 848 votes. The second round of voting for the post was held on Sunday, according to the election committee.

1783 votes were cast in the election. Lama is close to former minister Mohan Basnet.
