HoR meeting today, such is the agenda

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 13 – Today is the meeting of the House of Representatives. Today is the eleventh meeting of the tenth convention. The meeting will take place at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor at 1 p.m.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, the president of the Public Accounts Committee Bharat Kumar Shah (21st Annual Report of the Public Accounts Committee, 2078 BS) is likely to present the agenda in today’s meeting.

Similarly, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota registered against Dev Prasad Gurung, Pushpa Bhusal (Gautam) and Jeevan Ram Shrestha as proponents and 95 MPs as supporters in accordance with Article 101 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal and Sub-rule (1) of Rule 161 of the Rules of the House of Representatives, 2075. There is a possible agenda to determine the date and time of discussion on the motion of impeachment.

For a long time, the main opposition party, the CPN-UML, has been obstructing parliament. The UML has demanded that the names and contact information of 14 lawmakers be made public after the party took action against them. In that case, the Speaker should take the initiative.
