Price of gold rose by 600 per tola
KATHMANDU: MARCH. 11 – On Friday, the price of gold increased by Rs 600 per tola to Rs 102,600 in the gold and silver market. On Thursday, the yellow metal was trading at Rs 122,000 per tola.
According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs of Nepal, the price of Tejabi gold was set at Rs. 102,100 per tola on Friday. Its price on Thursday was Rs. 101,500. Similarly, the price of silver increased by Rs 10 per tola to Rs 1,415 per tola on Friday, according to the federation.
Gold, which was trading at Rs. 10,900 per tola on the first trading day of the week on Sunday, increased to Rs. 10,500 on Wednesday.
The federation has set daily trading prices here based on fluctuations in the international market for gold and silver. On Friday, gold was trading at around $1,988 per tola in international markets.
