General Convention of Nepal Civil Servants Association from March 12
KATHMANDU: MARCH. 10 – The Nepal Civil Servants Association, which is affiliated with the CPN (UML), will hold its 11th National Convention beginning on Falgun 28 (March 12).
Speaking at a press conference in Kathmandu on Thursday, the organization said that the convention would be inaugurated at Karki Banquet Thapathali Heights, Kathmandu on March 12 under the chief guests of UML Chairperson and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
The organization also stated that all preparations for the 11th National Convention, which is set to take place on March 12, have been completed. Kedar Prasad Devkota, the organization’s coordinator, stated at the press conference that all preparations for the 11th National Convention have been completed. He stated that 77 district conventions and 36 departmental working committee conventions had been completed.
He stated that the convention will include a wide-ranging discussion on the organizational structure and form of civil service, as well as the issues to be addressed in the federal, state, and local civil service acts.
He also stated that the new leadership would be chosen unanimously rather than through a vote.
