Farewell to the Taekwondo team that is leaving for Iran

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 10 – The Nepali team that was going to Iran to participate in the 4th President’s Cup Asian Regional Para-Taekwondo Championship has been sent off.

On Thursday, the Nepal Taekwondo Association bade farewell to Para-Taekwondo player Srijana Ghising and coach Kaviraj Negi Lama, who will be participating in the upcoming President’s Cup in Tehran, Iran.

In the farewell program, the vice president of the association Nanda Kumar Rai expressed confidence that the Nepali players would bring excellent results in the competition. He said that the players were given the right training between Coronaca and Najita would be better than before.

Coach Lama also said that the President’s Cup would be important for the preparation of the upcoming Asian Mercury Games. According to the association, the taekwondo player will play his game on March 14.
