KATHMANDU: MARCH. 9 – Chairperson of the Unified Socialists Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that if they do not agree to pass the MCC agreement, the danger of the party’s demise has increased. This was stated in the political report submitted by Chairperson Nepal at the Central Committee meeting, which began on Wednesday.

According to Chairperson Nepal, if we did not agree to pass the MCC there was a risk that the Nepali Congress and UML will jointly pass the MCC agreement and end the existence of our party.

“If we had not done so, the NC and UML would have jointly approved the MCC Compact to break the five-party alliance, remove the speaker and take action against 14 lawmakers of our party,” he said.
