CPN (Unified Socialist)’s central committee meeting to begin today

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 9 – The third two-day plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) is starting from today.

The meeting scheduled for 11 a.m. at Karki Banquet at Babar Mahal will have an in-depth discussion on the review of current national politics and the political report to be presented by Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal.

The meeting will discuss the party’s strategy for the upcoming local elections and the US aid grant Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) passed by the House, said Jeevan Ram Shrestha, chief whip of the parliamentary party.

The meeting of the party on March 7 decided to convene a meeting of the central committee.
