Buddha Air to distributes 25 hundred books to passengers travelling on March 8

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 7 – On International Women’s Day (March 8), Buddha Air will distribute 2500 books from Tribhuvan International Airport to passengers flying with Buddha Air.

Dipendra Karna, Buddha Air’s information officer, stated that the book written by women writers in various genres is being distributed in collaboration with Sangri-La Books. Karna also stated that the book was not intended for passengers arriving from airports outside of Kathmandu.

Karna stated that while Buddha Air transports 8,000 passengers daily from Kathmandu Airport, only 2500 will receive the book at the start. The Buddha is about to give a book worth one million rupees as a gift.
