KMC health camp in Dhumbarahi, free treatment for over a thousand

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 7 – On Sunday, a free health camp was held at Dhumbarahi Pipalbot in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-4.

A one-day free camp has been organized in collaboration with Kathmandu Medical College, Good Auto Mobile, Lions Club of Kathmandu United Friends and Leo Club of Kathmandu United Friends.

A total of 1,013 patients were given free health check-ups at the Mahendra Auto Mobile camp. According to Narayan Dahal, general manager of KMC, 221 people had blood tests, 189 had video X-rays, and 156 had ECGs.

Similarly, 22 teeth were extracted, and 42 patients who were unable to be treated at the camp were referred to a hospital for surgery.

On Thursday, KMC treated 1113 patients at a free health camp in Panauti, Kavre. With the arrival of Dr. Sunil Sharma, KMC has stepped up its free healthcare operations, holding healthcare camps in various districts and treating patients at no cost.
