Maoist meeting postponed till Monday

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 6 – The Central Committee meeting of the UCPN (M) has been rescheduled. The meeting had previously been postponed from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., but it has now been rescheduled for tomorrow. The meeting will take place at Anupam Foodland in Battisputali.

According to Central Member Anjana Bishankhe, the meeting was called off due to a lack of internal consultation. “The meeting has been rescheduled,” she stated. “A Parliamentary meeting is also scheduled for today.” As a result, the meeting has been rescheduled.

Discussions are taking place among top leaders. A meeting of former office-bearers is being held at party president Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s ‘Prachanda’ residence in Khumaltar. The meeting is discussing issues such as the termination of office bearers. The central office-bearers are being finalized at this meeting. Attempts are being made to reach an agreement on this.
