Nice proceeded to second place by defeating PSG

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 6 – Nice has surpassed top-ranked club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to take second place in the French Ligue 1 standings. Nice’s lone goal towards the end of Saturday night’s game was decisive as PSG suffered their third defeat of the season.

Nice’s three points were secured by Andy Delort’s goal in the 88th minute. Nice proceeded to second place behind Marseille after the victory.

Nice is still 13 points behind the top-ranked PSG. PSG failed to hit the expected shot in their game against Nice. Despite the defeat, PSG maintained its lead in the league table with 62 points from 27 games.

Nice proceeded to a second-place with 49 points from the same game, while Marseille is third with 47 points after playing one fewer game.
