ILAM: MARCH. 4 – Dambar Khadka, president of the Nepali Congress Ilam, has stated that factionalism and division in the party is over.

On Thursday, he addressed a gathering of municipal level representatives from Ilam Municipality, pledging to make the Congress the first party in the upcoming local elections.

“All the leaders and cadres of the Congress should unite and vote,” he said. He stated that his party’s candidate should win in every ward.

In a different context, President Khadka has said that Congress will be in power for 364 days out of 365 days but those who have defeated the Congress party by voting for one day in the election will be punished this time. He said, “Congress-elected candidates should be supported in any way.”
