Six Communist parties & two fronts to hold protest against MCC
KATHMANDU: MARCH. 4 – Smaller communist parties and fronts are planning a public protest against the MCC’s approval. They are scheduled to hold protests and rallies in Kathmandu Valley today.
The six small communist parties outside the parliament, as well as the two fronts, have announced that they will hold protests and rallies in Kathmandu Valley today as part of a phased agitation.
Communist Party of Nepal led by Biplav, Communist Party of Nepal (Masal) led by Mohan Bikram Singh, Communist Party of Nepal (Revolutionary Maoist) led by Mohan Vaidya ‘Kiran’, Rastriya Janamorcha led by Chitra Bahadur KC, Patriotic Republican Front led by CP Gajurel, Communist Party of Nepal led by Rishi Kattel, Scientific Socialist Communist Party, led by Aahuti, and the Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist, led by Kanarjit Budhathoki Sushil, will hold joint protests.
They have already issued a joint statement announcing the protest plan until Wednesday, March 20. As a result, there will be protests and joint protests in Kathmandu Valley on March 4 (today), interactions with intellectuals on March 6, protests and rallies on March 8, protests and rallies by students on campus and in schools on March 10, and youth protests and rallies on March 12.
Similarly, the party has stated that workers will protest and rally on March 14, farmers will protest and rally on March 16, workers and dalits will protest and rally on March 18, and fronts will protest and rally on March 20.
