‘Russia-Ukraine must continue loyal talks’

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 3 – Nepal has voted in favor of Ukraine in the UN General Assembly.

Representing Nepal in the General Assembly, Amrit Rai stated that Nepal has always desired peace and that Nepal has a vote in favor of Ukraine.

Stating that there is no alternative to bilateral diplomatic talks for conflict management, Representative Rai said, “There is no alternative to diplomatic dialogue to establish peace and make it lasting.” We urge both sides to continue to work very sincerely to resolve this conflict peacefully and to find a political solution for the peace of Europe. ”

Rai stated that Nepal, the birthplace of Lord Gautama Buddha, has always desired peace, sovereignty, and independence, and that “Russia and Ukraine must find a peaceful solution.”
