Ukraine claims 5,840 Russian soldiers killed

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 2 – Ukraine claims 5,840 Russian soldiers have died in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

According to the BBC, Russia suffered heavy casualties, citing the Ukrainian military.

It is claimed that Ukraine shot down 30 Russian planes during the war. The Ukrainian military claims that 31 helicopters, 211 tanks, 862 armored vehicles, 85 artillery systems, 9 anti-aircraft systems, 60 fuel tanks and 355 military vehicles were damaged.

According to the BBC, the Ukrainian army also seized 40 MLRS rocket launchers.
