Project is being implemented, according to MCC

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 2 – As soon as the project was approved by Nepal’s parliament, the American aid project Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) has stated that it will begin implementation.

According to a statement issued by the MCC headquarters on Tuesday night, the approval of the MCC agreement clears the way for the projects covered by it to proceed.

Following the ratification of the MCC agreement, the MCC stated that it will work with the Government of Nepal as a sovereign democratic country.

MCC will expand Nepal’s electricity supply, reduced transportation costs, and create employment.
