Actress Rekha Thapa nominated as RPP central member

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 2 – Rekha Thapa, an actress, has been nominated as a central member of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).

According to Mohan Shrestha, spokesperson and head of the publicity department, chairperson Rajendra Lingden has nominated 14 people, including actress Thapa, as central members.

Thapa was defeated by Kunti Shahi for the position of General Secretary at the RPP General Convention last Mangsir (Nov/Dec). Thapa has been nominated as a central member despite being defeated in the general election.
