Mayank Agarwal named new Punjab Kings captain
KATHMANDU: FEB. 28 – Mayank Agarwal has been unveiled as the new captain of Punjab Kings. According to Indian media, Mayank, who was retained by the club for Rs 120 million, has been appointed captain by the club. Since 2018, he has been an important member of this team.
Manyak, who debuted in the IPL in 2011, has scored 2135 runs at an average of 23.46 in 100 matches. In 95 innings, he has one century and 11 fifties.

KL Rahul was the team’s captain in the previous edition. Manyak took over as captain in his absence. Rahul, a former Punjab captain, has joined Lucknow for Rs 170 million.
The IPL is starting from March 26. The final competition will be held on May 29.
All 70 league games will take place in Maharashtra. There will be 55 games in Mumbai and 15 games in Pune. The full schedule of the IPL is yet to be made public.
