“MCC has been passed, I am happy,” :Prachanda

KATHMANDU: FEB. 28 – Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Chairperson of the Maoist Center, has stated that his party was compelled to support MCC.

This was stated by Prachanda following the passage of the MCC by Nepal’s Parliament. Prachanda stated at a press conference in Khumaltar on Sunday, “I saw a lot of danger if this alliance was broken, so we accepted the MCC.”

He also stated that he was relieved that MCC had been approved. “The MCC was approved. “I’m happy,” Prachanda said. It’s merely a development grant.”
