KATHMANDU: FEB. 28 – Russia has invaded Ukraine for the fifth day. Russia has continued to invade Ukraine from almost all areas to this day.

Ukraine has admitted that Russian forces are attacking from nearly every direction. According to the most recent reports, Russian troops have taken control of the southern port of Berdyansk.

Previously, the regional administrative head of the northeastern city of Kharkiv regained control of the city after local troops fought Russian troops on the streets.

According to Ukraine’s deputy defense minister, 4,300 Russian troops have died in the conflict so far. However, it has not been independently verified.

Ukraine’s National News Agency reports that shelling has resumed in the capital Kiev and Kharkiv. The bomber struck shortly after noon in Kiev and Kharkiv, after hours of peace in the Ukrainian capital, according to Ukraine’s Special Service.

Meanwhile, alarm bells were rung in the northern Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi.
