Suspicious object from Banepa: Empty cooker, two arrested

KATHMANDU: FEB. 28 – The Nepal Army’s bomb disposal team disposed of suspicious object found in Banepa, Kavre district. A suspicious object was found on the Pulbazar road in Banepa Municipality-9.

According to SP Chakraraj Joshi of District Police Office, Kavre, the pressure cooker with ‘No MCC’ written on it was disposed by a special team of the Army. “No MCC” and the danger sign was found in the morning by connecting the wires, “he said, adding that the cooker was found empty while disposing of the pressure cooker.”

According to SP Joshi, two persons have been arrested for possessing the empty cooker. The road is now smooth after the object has been removed. He stated that the names of those arrested will be made public shortly.
