3 more branchless banking operations by Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank
KATHMANDU: FEB. 28 – Kamana Sewa Bikas has launched a branchless banking service through a mobile app in three more places. The bank has brought branchless banking service in Devdaha Municipality-8 of Rupandehi, Sitganga-2 of Arghakhanchi, Madhyanepal-7 Rambazar of Sitapur and Lamjung districts.
Devadaha Mobile and Computer (Prof. Ghanshyam KC), Sachin Mobile Center (Prof. Sachin Bohora) in Sitganga Municipality and Ishaneshwor Electronics (Prof. Nirdosh Ghimire) in Central Nepal Municipality have been appointed as business representatives.
Director of the Bank Bhim Prasad Tulachan and Ward Chairperson of Devdaha Municipality-8 Dandpani Bhattarai in Devdaha Rupandehi, Chaturakhar Adhikari, Director of the Bank in Central Nepal, Lamjung and Ward Chairperson of Sitganga Municipality-2 in Sitapur Ganga-2 Sitapur of Arghakhanchi District inaugurated the branchless banking service.
The program was attended by the founders of the bank, other employees of the bank, business representatives and local dignitaries.
Facilities like account opening, deposit collection, payment, various bill payments etc. will be provided through branchless banking. The bank has stated that this service will develop significant trust in the bank and banking concept in rural and non-banking areas.
