Suspicious object with ‘No MCC’ written on it found in Banepa

KATHMANDU: FEB. 28 – A suspicious object resembling an explosive device has been found in Pulbazar, Banepa Municipality, Kavre. In the early hours of the morning, a suspicious object was found in the street at Pul Bazar in Municipality-9.

A pressure cooker with the words ‘No MCC’ written on it has been found, according to the District Police Office in Kavre. Whether it is a bomb or not has not been confirmed. A Nepal Army team is now attempting to defuse the bomb.

The MCC agreement was announced in response to the passage of the parliament on Sunday. In response to the MCC’s passage in parliament, six small communist organizations and two fronts have called for a strike.
