Meeting of Council of Ministers before Parliament

KATHMANDU: FEB. 27 – A meeting of the Council of Ministers is being held.

A minister informed Makalu Khabar that the Council of Ministers will meet before the parliament convenes to decide on the ruling coalition’s agreement on ratifying the MCC agreement by the parliament.

At 3 p.m., the meeting will begin. “However, there is no discussion about where the meeting will be held,” the minister said. “However, the meeting will be held before the parliament convenes.”

At a meeting of the ruling coalition this morning, Ibar had decided to ratify the agreement with “explanatory remarks”.

The government is preparing to pass the remark by the Council of Ministers. The MCC is being approved by the House of Representatives today. The House of Representatives is meeting in two phases.
