MCC: Top leaders reach Baluwatar seeking consensus

KATHMANDU: FEB. 27 – Meetings of the ruling coalition are being held. The meeting will be held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar after 10 am on Sunday. Discussions on MCC and other issues will be discussed in the meeting.

Discussion on MCC is starting in the House of Representatives sitting at 1 pm today. Before that, the meetings of the coalition have started. Top leaders are demanding that the MCC be disbanded in order to revive the alliance.

After the Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba started getting closer to the opposition UML, the Maoist Center and the Unified Socialists are also claiming that the MCC will be passed.

Leaders have reached Baluwatar to attend the meeting.
