KATHMANDU: FEB. 27 – Manchester United have been held to a draw by Manchester City in the English Premier League. City beat Everton 1-0 to hold Manchester United to a goalless draw with Watford.

Phil Foden’s goal in the 82nd minute was decisive in City’s victory. In a contentious game at Goodison Park, Everton failed to capitalize on some good scoring chances. City also put pressure on the game but had to wait until the last minute for the goal.

City have 66 points from 27 games, while second-placed Liverpool have 60 points from 26 games. Even after the draw, United remain in fourth place with 47 points.

Newcastle beat Brentford 2-0 and Aston Villa beat Brighton 2-0 on Saturday. Burnley also drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace.
