National cricket team returning home today

KATHMANDU: FEB. 25 – Nepali national cricket team is returning home today. The team that participated in the global selection ‘A’ of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup qualifiers held in Oman will return home today.

Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has stated that the Nepali team will arrive in Nepal at 5.30 pm. Nepal had secured the third position in the selection. Nepal defeated Oman by 9 wickets in the play-off for third place on Thursday.

However, after losing in the semi-finals, Nepal’s dream of playing in the T20 World Cup in Australia remained unfulfilled. In the semi-final, Nepal lost to UAE.
